Lion rock question

So I'm at my moms house today and my kids were playing with some of my old toys that were left there. I looked and noticed what looked like mego superman, but something was amiss. The costume fit poorly and none of his joints moved, so I disrobed him to find a figure that was not a mego but instead branded lion rock 1975 on the neck. This figure does not have knee or elbow joints, fixed hands and feet! What do I have here? And what is he doing in a superman suit?! Lol

They feel like hollow limbs, not rubbery or solid.

Lion Rock did some different things. Def a Mego Supes outfit.

That's actually a knock off of a lion rock or possibly left over heads with a cheap blow molded body done after Mego folded. Somewhere I have pictures of carded examples.

My Mom bought us a KNOCK OFF! Somehow I feel a little less 'loved'! LOL I remember playing with this as a kid, superman suit and all. So I'm guessing they made knock offs in super heroes, hmm. Thanks for the help guys!

Way to go, Mom! The cheap stuff is often the neatest. What does he look like when he's wearing Superman's suit? Do you really think he showed up from the shopping trip wearing the Superman suit? That would be great to find a packaged example with MEGO leftovers used.
