Greetings all!
This is another custom monster from my vault. I made it about 9 years ago, but never gave it a proper hi-rez unveiling. Back in the day, all I knew how to do was place the figure on a scanner bed. I couldn't really show the box graphics.
This figure comes from the final film in the Hammer Frankenstein series. Although it was made on a stage-bound set and very limited budget whe compared to the previous Frankie films, Terence Fisher and Peter Cushing elevate the material. For my money, it is an unrecognized, though admittedly minor, classic.
A good set of Hammer Monsters was one of the reasons I got into customizing about 20 years ago. To date, I have also made 3 distinct versions of Chris Lee Dracula, Chris Lee Frankenstein, Curse of the Werewolf, Evil of Frankenstein, The Mummy, Baron Meinster... but it is this figure that I get the most e-mails about. Something about David Prowse in this goofy make-up strikes a cord with monster fans.
