12 in Custom Mego Aquaman: Any Suggestions on Heads and Outfits?

I love the 12 in Christopher Reeve Superman, the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, and the Magnetic Batman and Robin. As a SuperFriends fan, I would like to get a custom 12 inch Aquaman made to complete the SuperFriends in 12 inch. I know I would use the muscular 12 inch Mego body. But I have 2 questions.

1: HEAD: Which would be better? Using the head of thr 12 inch Jor El or to have a new 12 inch head scultped?

2: Outfit: What would be the best version for a 12 inch Aquaman costume?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you gotta go with the classic look, like in the 8" inch version. Orange shirt, black trunks, green pants, green gloves. I can't wait to see it. Please post pics as you work!

I think someone here used a Buck Rogers Killer Kane head customized it by painting it yellow. I thought it looked good.

WOOOOOOOW bleit1701!!!!!! That looks sooooooooo AWESOME and so Mego-like!!!!!!!!!! It could even use the green plastic Robin cuffs that DR. Sells along with green molded hands and it would look just like Mego would have done it back then!

i'd have one of the guys blow up the mego flash gordon head to 12 inch scale as far as the bodysuit bleit has a good idea but maybe blow up the pattern on the retro hero aquaman shirt for the scales,he has to have the scales.

this is bleits suit, just so you know if you go with the muscle body robins gauntlets wont fit that's why I used batmans
