The Fly Twins -- 1967 Spider-Man Animated Series

Here we have my take on the Human Fly Twins from the 1967 animated Spider-Man series. They appeared in two episodes entitled: "The Spider and the Fly" and "Trick or Treachery" both in season 1.

Simple customs really. Black unitards over original T2 bodies with black CTVT hands. Heads are Marvel Signature series Iron Spidey shrunk to Mego 8" scale and some slight eye modifications.

Getting caught by my 1967 animated Spider-Man custom

I hope you enjoy my obscure villain customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking!

    Peace, Love and Megos,

    Austin

AWESOME! I can die happy now. These are super-great and the nostalgia is KILLING ME! If I recall properly didn't they have these little cable-shooters that looked like tape-measures? Wow. I was just listening to the beginning of that show the other day on youtube. Fantastic. I never get tired of seeing your customs.

I loved those episodes, and when the black costume first showed up in 1984, I couldn't help but think someone at Marvel remembered those guys!

          Great work as always!

Simple, yet very pleasing--I need to get that show.

Love their look, hated their voices.

How many Spidey cartoon customs have you done now Austin?

We've come a long way from slapping a bodysuit and a headshrink together and calling it a custom. :-)

J/K Austin, they look great and I continue to be a big fan of your 'off the beaten path' projects.

That is really cool. Now you need to make their little web-throwers that look like retracting tape measures.

I always remembered their eyes as being white. I, too, always figured they were the inspiration for the black-suit Spidey
Warm up?! We may as well sit around this cigarette!
