I never knew it was actually released! Great review! As a kid, a Vicki figure always hung around Children's Palace. I never did get it, but picked up Doc and Julie a few years ago (loose but with cards and bubbles) at a toy show.

I could see Cobra taking hostages on there.

Wow! That is really, really nice...but Doc needs some generic gals to hit on...lol. Would have been nice if it came with extra people...I would have been bored with just the crew.

I remember seeing these at Kay-Bee back in the day.

Very well done article. It's interesting Mego actually painted the eyes on them instead of just poking holes for the eyes like all their other 3 3/4 inch figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'm surprised Brian hasn't taken that Gopher figure and made Fred Grandee's "Monster Squad" character. I think they both wear bowties. Throw in some modified Remco Mini-Monsters and you got a party.

An Enterprise playset like this with different sections of the ship would have been awesome for the Star Trek line.
