Be gentle guys, I haven't done a custom in YEARS. Not really sure why. I've had tons of ideas, but I never had the parts, didn't want to wait, yada-yada. My skills are limited, so I mostly just try to kitbash with a little ingenuity here and there. I try to stay with in the Mego aesthetic for the most part, and that also helps with my limited skill set.
Anyway, I was reading a Phantom Zone collection, and that first Mon-El story always resonated with me for some reason. Not a big Legion guy, but his simple, reverse-Superman costume has always spoke to me.
LJN head repainted, red Cast-A-Way suit and black belt, Batman boots, blue trunks from a cut Barbie swimsuit, and a modified 9" Hasbro Martian Manhunter cape.
Here he is with his "little brother", Superman!
And now my favorite customs welcome him to the case.
