Need Silver surfer head idea
I have always wanted to make a Mego Silver Surfer. I just recently found a really cool Mego sized surf board that I am gonna paint white. An all white jump suit and painted head should make this an easy custom to make. I just have no idea who's head I should paint white. Retro Lex Luther comes to mind but unsure. Anyone out there ever do this custom? If they did which head did they use.Thanks.

There used to be a great head available that isn't anymore. It's what I used for mine. Also...I'm curious. Why are you painting him white?

Brian makes a really nice suit. I believe it may be the one in the picture above. If not it's similar. I always thought I would like a bald Thor or Conan head, but after reconsideration I think SS has a more non violent look. I guess I crossed the power issue with aggression, which he doesn't really have. He's almost non emotional at most times. Troy Younger has a bald head that would need some sanding to remove the ears and eyebrows but would probably be a good SS head. Always been a fan of his stuff. DaveMc had one also, not sure if he has any of those left lying around. He does quality work too.It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

This has always been my favorite custom version of SS. I was never a fan of the character, but this figure is simply stunning. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing one on eBay a number of years ago and kicking myself for not picking it up.Comment
