Old B.O.B.'s the greatest, and as a child always wished I had one. Thank you, I love this kind of stuff.

Very nice! It looks rather familiar - in that I think I've seen this in some Mego catalog or advertising photography. The glossy paint on the body and the textures of the dented areas are what comes to my mind.

This - and Twiki as well - were probably photography models!

That's very likely considering they ended up in Tory's hands.

This cast seems rougher than Twiki. Is that from the mold or the original sculpt?

Seeing this and the Twiki makes you want to go out and collect both lines.

It looks like the rough dents were part of the original sculpt. Its possible undercutting and other difficult-to-reproduce parts of the texture made the molds a bit rougher, resulting in messy casting - which would suit poor battered Old B.O.B.

That is just awesome and a figure I so longed for as a kid.

I'm not certain about this, but my guess is that unlike Twiki and Vincent, Old Bob was not sculpted by Bill Lemon or Ray Meyers, so it wouldn't have been done to quite that level of detail. Both Bill and Ray were masters of capturing likenesses as well as fine detail in their acetate sculpts.

Wasn't B.O.B. supposed to be really rough and battered?
