CTVT Labcoat questions

I'm thinking about using a CTVT labcoat on a custom I have in the works, but I have a couple of questions for anyone who's bought one. Does the coat fit loose or tight? Also, I'm going to be dying the coat, so does the material look like it'll take dye - i.e. cotton?

As for the dye? I really don't know. Interested in trying it in the future.
As for the fit, I would say snug to tight. Used CTVT lab coats on the Fly and WIP Lizard. It just fits over the long sleeves of a dress shirt on a CTVT body, and is still a snug fit on a sleeve-less shirt/bare arm CTVT body. Although I have a new long lab coat, I have yet to try it on a body.

Agreed. I got one for my Lizard custom and it's tight on the bare arms. I'm using a Castaway swivel bicep and a standard Mego forearm.
I wanted to slip on a long sleeve turtleneck on him but the sleeves won't allow. Might either have to un-stitch and resew a new seam or just make a new coat all together. Or just make the turtleneck sleeve less and sew cuffs onto the coat.
As for the dye, yes it will take. The material is a lightweight cotton linen and frays very easily

Doc's labcoats, which are(or used to be) sized a bit bigger, are due back in stock next month.
