Wow! I wondered how long it would take for someone to ask:silly:

His name is Red Beard. He is a long time Phantom villain... Pirate. The plan, is (given KING FEATURES final approval), is to use this sculpt as a mask for Dr. Evil, along with the usual Pirate duds and gear etc. This will be the Villain outfit for Dr. Evil to go along with the Phantom costume for CA. We didn't just want to re-do Playing Mantis's Kabai Singh, so we consulted with Ed Rhoads (the most knowledgeable Phantom guy on the planet) and he suggested a few for us to use, we thought a Pirate would be neat... We also have another Villain for the Non-CA regular Phantom figure as well... he's neat as well, and we will show that once we get some more pix.

Now I can talk! I have been biting my toungue in two wanting to talk about the exciting things David and Jason have planned here. I am very excited to be a small part of it! I think you guys will like the packaging design we've come up with. Its the perfect marriage of classic Mego and classic Captain Action styles.

It's a great honor to be able to offically render Captain Action for a licensed product. To follow in the foot steps of legends like Murphy Anderson, Gil Kane and Wally Wood is more than this schlep deserves!

Stay tuned! These guys are gonna knock your Mego booties off!!!

Dane this will be basically a Type 2 with swivel biceps and gripping hands, not much more than an updated Type 2, very MEGO. But we will surely post pix when we get them...

But for the customizer, we have some nice goodies to spring on ya in due time:costumed-smiley-063 We only have rough shots from the factory now, so we will wait fir actual samples in hand to post on these...

T-bolt, another excellent question! Right now we are in the process of transforming our site into a state of the art e-commerce site, for the express purpose of selling these figures. Wholesaling at this point, doesn't appeal to us, as we like being in total control of our product. We secure our own licenses, manufacture our own figures, and work directly with collectors, so we can ensure 100% quality control and ultimately your satisfaction. If sales dictate that in the future it's what we have to do, then we will see about it. But until then we want to keep this tight knit so we can put out products that we ourselves would be proud to own, I promise you that if Jason and I are happy with it... you will be too!

Competitive is a great way to put it... honestly, maybe a little higher, we'll know better here soon, and you guys will know when we do. What we do know is that we want to bring out a high quality 8 inch figure, that's close to original but with some subtle improvements. Our focus is on what we would want as collectors... As for case discounts and such, it's not out of the question Paul, I just don't want to make any promise that we wouldn't be able to honor later...

Like I said to T-Bolt, we'd love to have a more modern female body and it would expand our offerings quite a bit. At this point it's just on the list of things we'd like to do...

The bodies will have to be made so the figures can be produced, so since they are the first step, we should be able to offer them at launch or maybe a bit before. I hate to be so vague, but we do not want to create an expectation only to slip on time later. When the factory comes back from tbe Chinese New Year holiday, we will be able to get a better handle on their progress and make a better estimation on delivery...

Yea John, Charlee has been integral to the Phantom, we were able to salvage some of FlattWorld's work for these new figures. Charlee himself is just an extremely cool guy and it's been a real honor to work with him. Cory's Phantom Sculpt was great! But, Charlee did... well what he does best, and the results were; he took the sculpt from great to Super Fantastic! The end result as you can see is Spectacular!

Working with talented members here and in the MEGO community has been one of the greatest parts to these two projects... I sure hope we can continue to do that on newer projects as well, nothing is better to us than to work with people we respect and admire...

Give us a about 10 days or so... We have samples set to arrive from the Factory. Once we get them in hand, approve them, and show them to Joe at CA Ent. we'll post them here... along with all of our new custom goodies and parts, lots to see:smiley3:
