Putting together a repro Zorro.
Know the original had "Trek" legs.

If I wanted to use boots instead- which ones woud be a good choice?
Klingon boots? or something else?

Get Doc's black pirate outfit.

Heck, you can get everything you need for a Zorro custom from Doc, from the head and body, to the sword and cape!

Yep, I noticd the outfit on Doc Mego's site, and since I have T2 bodies and got the head (A Doc Mego or CTVT repro) in a deal, fugure'd I ought to try to finish him.

Klingon boots look like riding boots to me

Klingon boot is the same boot as the CHiPs boot but the CHiPs boot has the knee cover cut off.

They should be. I think that they are just cast in black.

Yes! Most 'hero boots' are the standard Mego superhero boots. I.E. Batman, Superman, Green Arrow, Shazam, Capt. America, etc.

What cape did you use for your Zorro?

Did it the easy way and got Doc Mego's "pirate outfit" which comes with cape. It's a nice big one. I may use it as a model to make other capes like it (in other colors)

Cool mate,I got Doc's other pirate costume,I have had it for awhile,just saw the suit with sword and cape,pretty nice.

I may have a go at making a cape myself.

Thanks, the boots were the one thing i wasnt sure about, as i wanted to create him on a std T2 body. but these worked out perfectly.

Gonna make a clamshell card for him. In my "Megoverse" , Zorro , Phantom, and Tarzan like to hang out together, as they're not strictly DC/Marvel. But I still want them on WGSH-type cards of my own making
