They're on the scarce side, but the original LJN line has an AA body with swivel biceps. The other alternative is to draw and quarter an AA wrassler body and mod the arms to fit what you're doing.
Does anybody know if you can get swivel arms in a brown color?
Or any other color other than regular flesh tone.
Hey fallensaviour,
I tried to dye Doc Mego's swivel biceps with black dye, and they came out a nice brown.
I had to paint them with black vinyl paint because I need that color.
In the future though, I think I am going to start dyeing Doc bodies when I need brown. I know it works for his hands too.
The chest and pelvis from DM maybe have to be painted though.
I would do the LJN route. I did that for my Shaft figure figure and with proper stringing, it works very well. I was seeking some Castaway, but didn't have any luck. But I like the LJN quality. More vintage.
You can find them reasonably priced on ebay.
I've actually been looking for a brown muscular swivel to make a Black Dynamite. Any ideas?
I found a couple of ljn guys on ebay but it was to hard to tell if they were swivel arms one of them was not.
I had completely forgot about the Django figures. That would be really nice if they came that way.We need pictures!!!
You know I never dreamed they would be so scarce to come by.

There are a multitude of 8"-ish AA wrestler bodies with arms varying from roid rage to pretty mellow. I put the torso in a vise and crush it to free the arms and find a way to attach good old T1 banding. It will take you some time, but if you look at a few Ebay auctions you'll probably find something you can work with.

That is promising news. What type/brand dye did you use?

I'd like to know too. I'm guessing Rit.
Yes, it was Rit powdered dye with boiling hot water. The powder seems stronger than the liquid.
I have not been getting good results with the liquid anymore, on clothing especially.
