    Submission: Scooby Doo

    Scooby Doo and the Gang
    Author: Derek Combs (Megospidey)
    Line: World's Greatest Cartoon Characters
Toy Execution (Vintage, Custom or Digital Art): Custom
Packaging Execution (Custom or Digital Art): Custom
Toy Customizers/Collaborators: Customizers: Derek Combs (Megospidey) and Justin Mabry (nightowlghoul) Collaborators: Paul Riggs (Merlyn1976) Joe DeRouen and Russ Pittman (Customslab) (they all supplied much needed parts/materials for this project)
    Packaging Customizers/Collaborators: Anthony Durso (TheToyroom)
Author Notes: This is a line of figures for which Mego should have acquired the license to produce, but did not. Since 1969, Scooby Doo and the gang have enjoyed a nearly 30 year run of popularity amongst children and adults. Who doesn't love seeing Velma, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, or Scooby unmask the villain at the end of the show to reveal the real culprit? Big thanks to Justin Mabry for producing the Creeper and Anthony Durso for the wonderful packaging.

I love this line! It's so cool! If I had been a kid back in the day watching this on Saturday morning, I'd want this whole set! I'd be the first one on my block to have one!

              Wow

These are beautiful. My son is into the modern Scooby figures, and he would absolutely flip over these. Given the Scooby rebirth, it's too bad EMCE can't mass market an assortment or three of your designs. They are so spot on, I just love them.

It's also historically accurate, it was mentioned prominently in Vinnie B's notes.

What might have been. Think of all the Fred and Scoobys that would have been cannibalized to make Marvin and Wonder Dog.

Zoinks and Jinkies! They look better than your first run Derek! Kudos to Justin too for the Creeper figure! Awesome work!

FINALLY! I thought you'd never come forward with these. Seeing how Mego was already playing with the idea for a Scooby line I can't think of a line that deserves it more to be in the catalogue

Love the Scoob. A few more villans and Srappy too. With so much material over 30 years there would be a ton ov villians. Also they could have used their standard action van and made the Mystery Machine!
Too many toys. Not enough space!

The reason why we only did two villains is to show the possibilities. I had originally planned to do just one...the Witch Doctor. Justin inquired about being a part of this project and wanted to make another villain...and I'm glad he did. His Creeper is spot on!

Derek, didn't you do a Mystery Machine?

Two villains is perfect for a first assortment in my opinion. The following year they could add more and Scrappy and then officially jump the shark.
