A few weeks back I mentioned my surprise at finding the local toys R Us stores had started carrying the AA/Diamond Select TWOK Trek figures.
Today I had some time to kill, and hit TRU again. Again, I was surprised to fing the store now has all of the Diamond Select/AA lines. TWOK, DS9, Picard in command chair, Battlestar Galactica, and Stargate: Atlantis!
I hope (REALLY HOPE) that this little "experiment" (if thats what is going on?) works and TRU pick up more of the Diamond Select stuff....Specifically a couple of certain figure lines put out by EMCE for Diamond!!! Yes, it's cool to see Kirk and Spock on the pegs at the local hobby or comic shop, but it would be freakin' FANTASTIC to see them hanging in a major retailer like TRU!!

(By the way, are the US and/or UK stores doing this too, or is this a Canadian thing only?)

My TRU doesn't have anything new. Still at least 3 assortments behind on JLU.

I was at a TRU here in the US a couple weeks ago and saw absolutely nothing as far as Trek/DST. Haven't seen any reports from other people on various toy boards either. My bet is it's a Canada thing.

Now that you mention it, my TRU in Jersey does have a slew of Trek stuff on the shelves.
It sure would be cool to see the Doc's Trek figures in big time retail!

Yeah, that would be cool.

I would even plan a trip to Canada just to be able to walk into a Toys R Us and see something I made hanging from a peg.:please_y:

Nothing at My Toysrus.... There is one complete row full of nothing but WWE on one side, & Power Rangers on the other side..., niether seem to be moving, however more & more toys make it to those rows everyday. :googly:
