Huge news if your a Universal monster fan. Legendary makeup artist Rick Baker has been given the green light to do Universal's remake of the Wolfman. Originally slated for a November release, it has been pushed back to 2009 so the film is finished correctly. WOW!!!! I am a HUGE Universal fan so this has really got me PUMPED! :drool_y: Here's the link...

I heard about this a couple a weeks ago with Benicio Del Toro playing lead. I think he is perfect for the role. Great character actor and he has the look for the wolfman.
Can't hardly wait. Should be better than Jack Nicholson's version.

Sounds cool. What ever happened to the remake of the Black Lagoon?

BLACK LAGOON remake?!?! I so wish that were to happen. Of course I'm sure they wouldn't stick to the orginal look of Creach and come up with some lame makeover or new version.
They should have Guillermo Del Toro direct. Make it very surreal and creepy.

Well I just IMDB'd it and doesn't look promising. I don't like the choice of writer and director.
Should come out this year.

yeah I knew about the Chreech remake since early last year but the wolfman remake is news to me (good news that is).
I just hope that when and if they do get around to making creech that they have the courtesy to give Chapman a cameo!?

I heard this whole story was bogus because of a small typo.

It's actually KENNY Baker doing the Wolfman remake.

Lagoon remake could be cool as long as they don't use CGI to create Creech.
And a Wolfman remake too? Gotta see pics first before I comment

Actually I think the movie is supposed to be Kenny Baker and Brooke Shields in "The Creature From the Blue Lagoon".

I'm a big fan of the original Lon Chaney Jr. Wolfman and I hope they don't "f" this one up...

I'm with you on this one. It seems that whenever hollywood takes a classic motion picture and remakes it most of the time the final product does not feel the same. I absolutely hate remakes, from movies, television, toys whatever it is they always seem to screw it up.
