Texas Mego Meet-up for Dallas Comic-Con Fan days, Anyone?

The Dallas Comic-Con Fan Days is being held Oct. 19-21 at the Irving Convention Center.

I wanted to check to see if any MM members would be attending and if there would be any interest in meeting up there like last year in Austin?

I know it's a bit late to begin planning, but f there's any interest maybe we could have an unofficial mini mego meet, even if it's just for lunch or dinner.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I was thinking of going down on Friday afternoon and go all day to the Comic-Con.

So I would be up for dinner on Friday or breakfast/lunch on Saturday. I would be leaving around 4 or so on Saturday.

I'm in . We need to see if megojim is planning on going. Dinner Friday night or breakfast Saturday..... or both, would be great. Online tickets sales are cut off Oct. 1, they're $5 cheaper online than at the door.

^ Jim's anniversary is that day. He is out.

My plans have changed a bit. I can't come on Friday, so I will be making a one day event out of this on Saturday.
Planning on leaving very early Saturday (about a 6 hour drive) and arriving around lunch, going to the show that afternoon,
then driving home and getting in late.

So...I would be available for lunch on Saturday only.

I never heard anymore about this. Did anyone make it down for Fan Days? I went on Friday and Sunday. Pretty decent show, better organized and not so crowded this time.

I came down for the Saturday session. This show had more vintage comics and vintage toys than the show we went to in Austin last year.

I was there but didnt see much. My son wore his Ewok costume - that was fun.
