CTVT Space 1999 Question

I picked up a few cheap CTVT figures on eBay this week, including some Space:1999 figures. I got a couple of the guys in spacesuits with the chest packs and backpacks, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the derned things off! Help!

A thin screwdriver to prise a corner open, then pull out the shoulder strap. you should then just be able to slide it down the body.

I haven't done it in a while, but I thought there was a small screw you could take out (or loosen) and screw back in. Maybe its behind a sticker?
