MEGO Evel Knievel style in Montgomery Wards

A friend sent me this great link. Notice Evel has a Mego type 1 body in bottom of pic wearing several outfits of which I have never seen before. Now I need a Evel head to try this with. The add is a little deceptive notice figure on end has a wire going into a Mego hand. HMMM?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Mego who made those outfits, they did some Bionic Man stuff too for Wards.

Looks like a little photography slight of hand there. Evel's head looks so small and the Mego hands look so large!

There's a few strange things going on in this ad. Notice the difference in size for the face opening in Evel's helmets; the center main pic has the smaller opening similar to the Playing Mantis re-issues, whereas the images behind it have the standard Ideal helmet. Also, where's Evel's belt?
