We've got four this fall by my count, this one kicks off the season. I'm hit or miss with the rest right now.

I'm getting my stuff ready for the show now, clearing out my closet and storage boxes. I'll be bringing a large mish mash of stuff, from vintage (some Megos, foreign vintage stuff, Star Wars, Mattel Space 1999 playset, Dune Spice Scout, even a poor beat up Shogun Warriors Mazinga ) to more modern, including some Sideshow 12" POTA guys, and of course, goodies from Japan. I also got a box of boxed Atari 2600 and 7800 carts for the video game folks. This is my first time setting up at a show, really excited about it. If I do well selling stuff and get the bug, I'd be interested in some of the other shows.

Sorry you can't make it Andy. Although I'm flirting with doing their November show as well, the guest of honour is Johnny Rico himself, Casper Van Dien.

                So, maybe see you there?

Oooh, Casper Van Dien. I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of the first Starship Troopers film.

If it's on TV, I end up staying up late.

Oh yeah, it's one of those films that I never get sick of watching, no matter how many times I've seen it (and I've lost count!).

Thanks to everyone that stopped by and said hi today. The show was better than expected and I'm looking forward to November.

Had a blast setting up with the guys and I even made some space in the office.....for about ten seconds.

Yep, it was a great show, I managed to empty out two whole bins full of toys, I sold more than I thought I might. Had loads of fun with Brian and Ed (plus Brian's clone trooper crazy son ), and I was able to mostly keep my promise to myself and stay in "sell mode", other than buying a couple small items. Looking forward to the November show, and this time I'm bringing plenty of plastic bags and Post-its!

Hanging with Chris and Brian is always a fun time, so this was a great excuse to spend the day with them (and Brian's kid is a good egg too). With the added bonus of getting rid of a bunch of clutter, and reacquainting myself with old friends I ran into today.

Love the fact that we've decided to set up at the November Toycon as well. An absolute pleasure as ever gentlemen!
