As most of you know I'm taking over producing the Mego Meet Exclusive figures from Chris beginning next year. I have already started on the 2013 figure. However, I'm stuck and need some help so I thought I'd ask our great community. I need 40 pairs of the Castaway gauntlets. I'd get them from CAW but they don't sell them anymore. So I thought I'd see if anyone has any they would like to donate to the cause. I don't care what color as they will be painted anyway. I would certainly appreciate it and would save me the trouble of finding an alternative solution. So if you have a set or more and don't need them please let me know.
Oh, and I guess the first clue for next years figure is the character wears gloves.
Thanks.

Scott,
if you can't find them, try shrink tubing, I used it for my Sheriff figures a few years back, worked like a charm and inexpensive at that

Lowes, Home Depot? It's designed to insulate wires once there's been a splice. You might also find it at some better auto parts stores. Heck, Walmart might even have it. Double heck, I have some I can mail you if you want to experiment before buying any.

^ Sure. That would be great sir.
just like zappa says - they love it rubber, like - shrink tubing with a hair dryer. ;]
Jim - you taunt me with that Sheriff.
in case anyone is wondering. Shrink tubing is a plastic tube that shrinks down when heated up. Electronic folks use it to insulate wires that are attached to equipment and exposed solder joints and such. Looks like Jim cut a piece of tube, slipped it over the hand/forearm and then heated it up to make a nice tight gauntlet. Awesome idea.

If you do this Jim I want one.
The figure is coming along nicely and I'm really hoping people will be pleased with my first choice. There will be 1 unique one for the auction. I'll do the teaser around mid-April and the reveal May 1st, just as Chris did.
