The Great Garloo "out in the wild"

Something you do not see everyday out in the "wild" The Great Garloo 1960's toy from Marx (and worth a pretty penny if he works)- Here he is sitting atop some dvr boxes at the "Wherehouse", in Newburgh NY (the Wherehouse is kind of a bar/hang out spot/ restaurant)

"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

Does he work? Did you buy him? How much was that one?

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

This is a fantastic looking toy, love the design of him. He looks in great condition, just missing his medalion.

Since he was part of the "decoration" for this place I doubt he is for sale, but I did not ask. The whole place has things like that, one room had a record album wall, etc. If I go there again I can see if the owner is there and ask, but seeing some of the similar themed subjects I doubt it

I've never seen one of those before, but like the look of him very much. What does he do when he works? It looks like, by the shape of his hands that he claps.

This will tell you all you need to know. One of the best toys of the 60's.

              I like toys.

Very cool toy. Just grabbed one at a flea market a month or so ago along with a Lost in Space B-9 and Johnny 7 OMA rifle and a few other 60s pieces.
