Anyone else having trouble with the Museum ?

For the past 2 days the Museum has been a hit and miss with me.

Yesterday, I could hardly get on at all.......

Today, it's running a lot better but the Amazon banner is gone -- (banner say's "The Page Cannot Be Found").

I'm wondering if it's just me........

All the other sites I go on are always fine --- ebay and a few forums.

I ran my spybot, cleaned cookies, defragged etc.

Is it just me ?

And if so, anybody know why ?

I thought it was just my computer too. So i ran scans also...then I realised it must be this forum cause i had no probs on any of the other forums I'm on......

hmmm..I haven't had any trouble and the amazon banner has always shown when I visit.

Small banner and Amazon opens in same window insteed of opening a new one.
Acouple of times the forums would not open but if I closed all windows thwn tryed it went in now peoblem. Haveing some problems with downloading from other sites.

Yup major delays yesterday and no banner today.

It was a problem across the board for everyone and we're aware of the issue. It's been addressed in the tech forum as well. It has to do with the Amazon banner and what those folks are doing, so Joe has altered it temporarily to fix the issue for now. He's working on a more permanent solution and that should be taken care of soon. Hang in there.

Same here......

The Amazon banner is still gone--- but the Museum is running perfectly--(so far)

I don't mind the trade-off :grin:

edited to add......
Not sure why, but I still have to double-click on a lot of the Museum forum's links to make them work.... like 50% of the time-- mostly on back-clicks
