So in another thread I saw someone mention that they'd seen a new Batman 'DC Universe' figure on a card that showed a 6 figure line, but no other members from the line had been spotted. I'd seen the Batman as well, but a few days ago, I found evidence that the other figures from the line are indeed shipping. I foolishly didn't scan the back of either card, so no pix of the Penguin, Orion, Metamorpho or any of the other figures, but witness Red Tornado and The Demon:

That Red Tornado looks better than the DC Direct version of a few years back....

There's detective Batman, Penguin Orion, Red Tornado and Demon. there's chasers of Penguin in white and Red Tornado in a newer uniform with different gloves and boots. I picked up my series from my Comic shop but they didn't have in any chasers yet.

I actually meant to post this in the Modern Toys section. My bad. :embarassed:

someone's not getting the definition of Mego-like. They are pretty cool, but I'm not getting sucked into another action figure line, especially at 10 bucks a pop.

Mattel has announced that there are no chase figures for the first wave at this time. They felt it more important to get the line going and put the chase figures on hold (along with the chase figures for the 2nd wave). Plans do call for a varient Penguin, but he's not in white, he comes with a robotic penguin. See thread: "Exciting JLU News Coming Soon" for the link.

Wow, I still have only scene Batman instores, & yet this line already has 2-packs too. They seem to be Just repaints, Two-Face vs Batman, & Joker vs Barb Batgirl. But Batgirl was only avalible before with a Batman 2 pack,.. & alot of people out there don't have the hard to get Two Face.. thought I'd share.

Those 2-Packs are actually mini figures in the 3" scale. NOT the previously released Two-Face and Batgirl from the 8" scale Superman/Batman DC Super Heroes line.

Those 2-packs are nicely sculpted, but to me their slighly bigger Heroclix with big honkin' missle launchers. Not my cup of tea.

The TRU exclusive Batman and Robin looks pretty sweet as Batman's cape is HUGE. The problem is it's a Zipline Bats with a bigger cape and the Battle disk Robin with a (barely) different paint job.

For $20, I couldn't pull the trigger just to get a piece of cloth.
