I know folks tend to think of this as an "either/or" equation, it's human nature I guess. I can't help but think of very "Mego" it is to get figures in 3 3/4" format as well as 8", and it's gravy if we get both.
the Venture-o-meter never seemed to move when they were soliciting preorders. But they are still on the site, and they have added the bloodied Brock as a con exclusive. So either they made the preorders that they wanted, or they are adopting a build it and they will come attitude.
Either way, I like these figures. It does harken back to Mego with double scale figures. Hopefully it will not be a financial drain in todays toy market to produce two different scales.
I've only picked up three of the 8" figures--I'm a fan, but not a superfan--but there's a good chance I'll get a few more of these at 3 3/4". I just hope they do well enough they get around to making The Monarch.
This is totally from a somewhat hazy memory, but didn't they say that they were going to start by releasing just Brock and use him as a gauge for the next single figure release, and from there the series as a whole?
