Someone posted a while back about a trick using plastic baggie and cutting it somehow to remake the plastic hair band around female Mego hair. I can't seem to find that post. Can the person who posted that lemme know? or if someone remembers the post, please point me to the post?

Thanks, people.

Iv fixed a lot of cher MEGO hair all you do is wash it with a baby shampoo and a very strong conditioner or clothes softener after washing leave hair in the clothes softener for about an hour rinse it off then style this helps , but if the hair is frizzy and dry , you need the hot water treatment , comb hair out best you can gently :) then get hot off boiling water and a cup of cold water hold doll upside down then put hot water over it running down into the sink then then right after, set it with the cold water this will de frizz it and flattens the hair you can do this 3 or 4 times till you are happy , please don't have water too hot it will melt the hair :) iv sorted loads of Mego cher,s like this then after you have done it style the hair like the figure should be using pictures as a guild
another thing that helps is hair dryer , comb dolls hair out after washing and conditioner lie on towel and gently blast the hair flat once hair is hot flatten it with your hand then blast it with a cold setting ....again not too hot ...

maybe you could just cut the corner off of a plastic baggie and cut it the width of the band and have a slightly angled one, all one piece with no tape. That may not be a very clear description of what I meant, but maybe you can catch the idea...
