    Back to the Meet . . . . .

As I sit here waiting for my flight back to Dallas reflecting on the last few days I can't help but think of where i was last year. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to hang out with a group of guys that I respect so much.
Ok enough of the sappy stuff . . . . Mego Meet is like a high school reunion and Christmas wrapped up in one big package! First, hats off to Chris and steve for the organization of the event. You guys are the best! Chuck I appreciate the transportation but the company was even better. Derek, derek, scott, brian, brian, chad, Sean, john and the other customizers, you inspire me to to continue to improve on what we do. I'm Honored to have won the custom contest! Trappy's stuff is cool, Such imagination with some of that stuff! Rookie attendee of the year goes to Toyman Chris and his wonderful wife, great vintage toys my man and It was a pleasure getting to know you this weekend. And to the rest of you guys; scott a, Ed n, doc mego, hulk, the mikes, Brue, Berto, tom, austin. . . . Etc, Always great to see you, hang out and talk. Lastly, where else can you go and pick up things like a mystery astronaut outfit, a silver soldier ape, cap America shield among other great stuff, most notably, the great Robin from the auction made by T-Bolt (hey Joe we need to discuss a Batman to go with it sir)

Like I said high school reunion and Christmas in one weekend!

Here's the Wolfman I made in the custom contest . . . . however, I was able to trade it for this bad boy!! a win-win!!

    Thank Everyone!

I hope to see a photo of that Wolfman you were working on, to. Had to leave before you finished, but I watched as you were hacking the arms off that white muscle body "Jim Bowie" style with your pocket knife.

just some friendly thread-jacking here, but Shane it was nice to finally meet you. I had to smack a few hands away from your firefighter figure before you arrived. ;-)

It was great talking with you. Thanks for helping my son with his custom and the Green Arrow rack toy is a huge hit. He was shooting arrows all over the hotel room last night.

It was a pleasure Jimmy. What a difference a year makes. I hope the flights work out next year too.
