I'm already here.

Decided to get a night of relaxation and maybe watch the NBA game tonight if there is one. I'll shoot over to Kruger Street in the morning to give a big hi-howdy to Alan and Jimmy. I'll be on the lookout for the first arrivals tomorrow afternoon. If anyone wants to call when they arrive or whenever it's 513-379-4647.

This is a much needed vacation. I think I'll have to go try the local Subway now. FOur dollar cold cut combos are hard to pass up...

Every year I have a quirk getting in that place lol.

We will be leaving Decatur around 6-7am...7-8hr drive...
I am all packed up and ready to load the vehicle.
No Red Skull as I thought...ran out of eye makeup and didn't think of it until I went to pack him up a little while ago and my place to get it locally is closed.

It might have been Nagy who suggested to me doing a little presentation board showing my Calibos progress...so, we printed out most of my progress thread and pics from the forum and glued it to a big ole board to stand at my table ;-)

We won't sleep a wink tonite...soooo ready.

I am bringing a cooler too for the suite...with the amount of folks hanging out, it has been getting a little tight on cold space...well, guess there is the tub to fill with ice haha.

Also..and the hotel might not like this..but I am bringing my own coffee pot for my room. It runs off a little propane bottle and is all self contained. Makes ten cups in about 12 minutes. I am picky about my coffee.

I also received my little card swiper/reader doodad for my iPhone so I can take debit/credit if the need arises.

You remembered it word for word. Everyone has those little happenings in life that will always bring a smile to your face and that is definitely one of mine. I laugh everytime I think of it. If I walked in and she was there I would probably lose it completely. And I would have to take a picture with her just to completely preserve the incident. I swear the cash draw would have hit her in the face if it flung open unexpectedly. Perhaps I'm exaggerating slightly on her height. Just a little though. There is no way to exaggerate the pure stupidity though. It was simply classic and I was happy to have been a part of it.

Reporting live from the Super 8 lobby. God forbid anyone run a black light over this keyboard. The Thursday birds are settled in the Mego suite and we're slobbering over Pulsar and Chad Gordy's pile of figures. John Farley is too sexy for his shirt, but he's going easy on us.

Wheeling is changing. We found out this is our last go-round at Hoss's as they did not renew their lease. The Super 8 is now operated by a 'Mahesh Patel' who has the warmth of a glacier. The rooms smell better this year though - good with the bad I guess.
