    Zylmex Metal Men disassembly

Not sure if I should post this here or in the "Customs" section but here goes.
What's the best way to take a Zylmex Questar or Radon apart?
I found a loose torso and pried it apart with screwdrivers but don't want to take the chance of damaging the metal on a good one. I see the screw which holds it together is an odd one and has threads which go about 1/4 turn. Is there a way of releasing the screw from the back without drilling into it?

I uploaded a better photo of the innards. Any suggestions here?

      Hmmmm....

That looks like some weird mechanical locking screw. Your best bet would probably to drill it out, and replace it with a standard screw of equal size.
