I'd agree with that price range, depending how damaged the box is.

I think I bought five 12" Trek in so so boxes with zombified heads for $150 a couple of years ago, I thought it was a good deal at the time. One of these days I'll plasti-dip them back to their former glory.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what are 'zombified' heads on 12" Star Trek figures?? I know the likenesses aren't perfect, but I never thought the ones I got were so awful.

What he said, I think I've heard referred to as "Migration" before. The colour seems to leave and gives the figure a ghoulish quality, Harry Booth from the Black Hole looks like a monster.

I've seen this on Trek movie, Moonraker, the Black Hole, Dukes of Hazzard, Teen Titans, certain WGSH, Candi, and CHiPs figures.

It can be reversed (with varying degrees of permanence) by applying a process that involves Tire Wet and Plasti-Dip.
Just be sure to follow the instructions EXACTLY!

Turns out that if you arbitrarly substitute whatever you have lying around for the Tire-Wet, and aggressively ignore the prescribed time frame for the process, quite a bit of paint comes off with the grey. Who'd have thunk it?!

Of course, if you are really nice to Dave Mc, you can get great results despite performing the degrey process in the most half-assed manner humanly possible!

Unfortunately, I now know what you mean. I just looked at one of my sets of 'MIB' 12" Trek figures, and a few are showing grey spots, particularly Decker. Also, I think I might have noticed something like this on my Buck Rogers figure a few years ago; I'm afraid to go look at that one right now...

Yeah, you can add Buck to the list of figures that this process can happen to. Just Buck though, the other figures in the line do not seem to suffer from the problem (I've never seen greying in the others, but then again, my Buck is perfectly fine too, so maybe there was a good batch)
