It appears Mattel has a big announcement, anybody have any speculation as to what that might be?

Hopefully they'll announce that I'll be able to find the JLU figures more easily in my neck of the woods...

Yeah, the best announcement I could hope for would be consistancy.

Interesting. I think maybe they will just change the name so they can now add characters in the JLU style that didn't actually appear on the show. Works for me.

It was interesting to read that the variants for wave 1 of the DCU haven't shipped yet and that they are modifying the cases for the wave 2 variants. I personally only want the Ronnie Firestorm and the classic Aquaman but I'll have to break down and get either the Red or Blue Superman for the BAF piece. I really hope this line continues. There are a lot of characters I'd love to see like a classic Robin and a really nice looking Wonder Woman. Still looking for pics of wave 3.

I'm guessing that the DCSH line is now dead. I never did see the last 2 Batman waves (Nightwing, Catwoman, Clayface, etc).

Of course they could anounce they are doing an 8" figure with cloth outfit

Ain't that the truth! I feel lucky that the only figures I need are the Fire and Ice 3-pack, which hasn't hit too widely, the Volcana 3-pack and the Grodd six-pack.

I'd like to see more vehicles or playsets.

I read a while back that Mattel was considering consolidating the animated lines into one series (JLU, the Batman) and adding figures from Teen Titans and the Legion of Super Heroes toon. Maybe that's the news. My son would LOVE to see LOSH figures on the shelf. He really digs that show, and I like it quite a bit too.

Deano is a big Legion fan as well, I never got into those characters at all but I am impressed that they could revamp it to captivate a five year old.

My youngest son likes LSH as well. Will be interesting to see what it is.

DC Universe Wave 3 pics if anyone hasn't seen them yet:

Neat stuff Scott, I'm purposely avoiding that line despite how neat it is. I just don't need another thing and Dean has more Superheroes than small towns have people it seems.

I don't know why they are even bothering to make Supermen Blue/Red. I can assure you that one will be sitting on the pegs long after the line has ended. Sure some will buy it for the BAF, but that's the only reason. Here's a thought, why not just make a regular Superman for the line. When will toy companies learn that we DON'T like figures that aren't in the proper colored attire for the actual hero. Camo Batman anyone?

I really hope its better distribution of JLU, I don't want to resort to evilbay or BBTS.
