Anyone else see the show? I liked it. I thought it was well done. I also think the teen female terminator was a good idea. I hope this show lasts a while.

It wasn't bad. Better than Bionic Woman, anyway. Summer was the best part. Other than being a cutie, she just classes up the joint..

Wow she is a cutie. She also was a believable terminator in my opinion. How old is she? She can't be more than 20.

Daaaaaaaaag dude, I don't blame ya, I would too! She is one cute girl! The most awesome picture of her I have even seen was in Serenity when she's standing with the blades in her hands after hacking up the whole Reaver raiding party, that face she's making just makes me melt! :drool_y:

I thought it was mostly good with a fun climax (bank vault!) but also a high cheese factor. It's got a lot of potential, and I defintely dig summer as the hot T.

I kinda liked it. I don't watch alot of these primetime shows..., to much drama & not enough action,.. I guess thats why Smallvile has no apeal to me, I tried & tried to get into Smallvile... But in the end the drama factor killed it for me. Although, I did manage to make it threw the Green Arrow Episodes, & Did enjoy them.

I think as long as the Terminator series keeps entertaining new ideas with the universe, I will watch..., With no 24, & Football going off the air soon, I need something. Interesting thought, in the new series John , sara & the New Terminator chick time jump, to 2 yrs after the yr Sara died. I wonder if this is going to have any sorta impact on the new Movie, or if this series is affecting the Movie time line at all. I also wonder the level of the new Terminator,.. is is obviously more advanced than just the T1000,.. I wonder about what all she can do.

& Just for the record, imo.. The Lady playing Sara in the new series is hotter than the Terminator chick.

Seeing as the basic premise of the Terminator films is time paradoxes and time travel ,I don't think it will make much difference...and if it did they could always explain it away in the new movie by throwing a line in about that time line being severed by skynet by sending someone back to stop it happening.

Although I'll probably regret it later on down the line I can't bring myself to invest any time in this series....you can thank the Bionic Woman revival for that. It may very well be better than BW but I don't wanna take the chance that it'll get yanked off the air eventually and then where will I be? As it is it was a struggle to even make it through the "Prison Break" lead-in last night and I used to really dig that show.

That's Leana Headey who played Queen Gorgo in 300...I think she's done a fine job so far and i'm sure she'll fall into the part well as time goes by..well if the show lasts....

She comes across as REALLY self-righteous. The narrative speeches don't help. (Same problem I had with her in the movies.)

I just watched my tape of Monday's episode, and I am definitely still enjoying this show. Hope it continues. Anyone know how many are done? Just wondering how the writer's strike might fit in. For now, it seems to me new episodes of other shows are dwindling, could give Terminator a boost if they have enough ready.

I just watched 3 episodes online. It's a great show! I'm going to continue with it until it burns itself into the ground... which I can see happening.

I know I was very excited about The 4400 until season 4.

More of these shows should be like Lost, and just decide, "OK, we'll do [x-number] of episodes/seasons and come to a conclusion."

I haven't seen the show---but I know its really good

My brother says its really good and I trust him---he doesn't mess around
with this kinda stuff---he says its comprable in quality to the movies

I'll have to get it on DVD eventually as I'm a big T1-T3 fan

I think the Terminator girl looks kinda weird, sort of like a real life Betty Boop, humongous forehead, lol. I much prefer the actress playing Sarah Conner, Lena Headey. She played the wife of King Leonidas in the film 300. I think she's gorgeous...

I think I was saying something like that back on page 1 or 2.

This latest episode showed the Terminator chick at its most uncaring moment.

She looked like she was defending that ballerina teacher against that mobster (by kicking him unto the wall), but we all knew she just wanted information about the teacher's brother whereabouts.

Once she was led to him, she took off without giving a damn about them getting smoked by the mobsters.

She was there purely for the mission...no feelings whatsoever.

I'm really getting into this show, my favorite new show of the season...it's solid, and I for one can't wait for the two-hour season finale.

I've seen bits and pieces of it and it looks pretty good. I guess my problem lies with the general Terminator premise. I always thought the original Terminator was a one trick pony or a self-contained story. I never saw any reason to go beyond it, because everything that happened in the first film suggested a perpetual cycle of the exact events. Anything outside of that would wreck the original reasoning of the story. That's why I was never a big fan of the sequels. In real time they shouldn't have happened. So when it came time for a TV series my thinking went back to the same logic. Sorry to nit pic, but with sci-fi concepts the heart of the "science" should appear to gel and in this instance, I don't think it works very well so I haven't been able to buy into it.

If you were not a Fan of The Termonator Movies,.. as far as 2 & 3 propeling the property to a Trilogy & opening a better pictured Universe with the Theme,.. you Probably wont like the TV Show either, with the new ideas & Story it's introduced.

I have to admit, I've been pleasantly surprised with this show. I went into it with low expectations, but it's been pretty solid throughout.

With that being said, there are a few things I'd do to ramp it up.

1. I'd make it run one more full season and that's it. I don't think the story line can support too much more without sacrificing plot along the way. By giving it an end point, the story will be much stronger for it. Actually, I think we're going to see more and more T.V. shows start to follow this model. Shorter series runs will allow for more new shows. Plus, the wider variety of shows will enable studios to market to a much more diverse audience.

2. I'd spend a little more time with the evil Terminator. We haven't seen much of him, and frankly I'm having trouble seeing his value right now. It's obvious what Sarah, John, and Cameron are trying to do, but not so with the Terminator. If he's been given one mission, and that is to kill John Connor, why all the side plots? Plus, as much as I enjoy looking at Summer Glau, I'd like to see more of the other Terminator(s).

3. Less time in the future, more tiime in the present. As much as adding Brian Austin Green has done for the storyline, I felt the show dragged during the episode that dealt mainly with the future. We know what the future of Skynet is, and, to be honest, it doesn't interest me that much. We've already seen the apocalyptic aspect in the other movies, we don't need it here.

4. Uh, more Summer Glau parading around in her undies. Yeah, lots more of that.

Man, I was really digging on that season finale last night. I thought that scene with Derek Reese and John Connor out in the park was the best scene of the whole series. Bar none.

Look, I love seeing those badass terminators as much as everyone, but that scene alone is a great reminder that character-driven plots are always 1,000,000 times more successful than action-driven (or, in many cases, special-effects-driven) plots. Scenes like that give me hope that series writers are finally starting to "get it."
