Blue Questar - Zylmex Metal Man

Has anyone physically seen the blue variation of the Zylmex Metal Man Questar? I've seen this photo of him (from Bugeyedmonster.com) but I've never seen one myself, or ever seen one for sale. Were these for sale in stores or was this a special design? maybe painted at home?

I have one. Just his torso is blue.

Sears had some exclusive Christmas catalogue merchandise for this line back in the day that a few of the variant figures came from. Some of those pieces are really hard to find and it's possible that's where this figure came from. I've never seen one in person but I love this line and wouldn't hesitate to buy him. I would imagine if one came up on ebay, there'd be a bit of a bidding war to get him.

It's hard to believe that I've only seen one photo of that figure. I don't even see him in any advertisements. Soooo unattainable!
