A month out, getting pumped up, how about you?

After missing last year, I think I'm more excited than my first Mego Meet.
Can't wait! Rcvd my ok for time off today as well, so now it's just finishing up the Knock Knock Toys offering/s and twiddling my thumbs until the big day!

    Chime in!

    I'm ready more than usual.
I am trying to do my first meet figure this year..but life has really kicked my these past couple months and nixed my creative spurt....depressed.
I still plan to bring Calibos to the meet...I hope I don't have to take shortcuts.

I was just tracking my route on Mapquest an hour ago. This will be the first Meet for me, although I made it to the hotel last year. The motorcycle ride last year was absolutely sensational and I can't wait to do it again this year. Here's hoping for good weather. I have some things I need to finish up to bring along. I'd better get cracking!

I am prettry excited. I do a couple of big shows a year and this will be the 1st show I have gone to as a "collector". 1st trip in years with just me and my wife (no kids/employees). Really excited.

Worried I won't bring enough stuff, the right stuff or enough cash!

I say this every year, but after the past 12 months I've had, both work and personal stuff, I cannot get away to WV fast enough. I'm even getting in a day early on Wednesday just to completely decompress from everything and prepare myself for the weekend geek marathon. I've still got so much to do between now and then, but I work well under pressure.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I'm just waiting for relatives to leave my house to get started getting the Megostash together to bring to fill up 4 tables. With the BS I've had to put up with at work...this show can't come fast enough. Hopefully I'll be able to break out the non mego stuff this year. I brought a whole crap load of Big Jim, GI Joe (Vintage 60's stuff), Marx and other lines with me last year and never got to get the out of the totes. Looking to be a little more organised again this year. Also can't wait to see my fellow megoheads at the show. You know who you are.

Can't wait to hang with 'ya'lls. I really liked arriving on the Thursday and having the casual Friday there just to shoot the breeze in the relaxed atmosphere of the setup day. I was also really surprised how much i enjoyed the friendly "sweat shop" friday assembly line, helping put together exclusive figures for chris dvm, cast-a-way, and others. I found it had a similar vibe to hanging at the customs table, and a terrific bonding activity (kind of a man-doll equivalent to a "***** and stitch")

The Saturday gets so crowded and overwhelming that I find it a bit harder to mingle and get to know people better.

It is the event I look forward to year round! We plan other stops around the weekend, it is just awesome!!! Can't wait to see everyone. I have had a crappy year health wise, feeling a bit better just in time for the meet!!

What time do you do the "assembly line" stuff? I'd be glad to help out. However, I will not be there until around 6:00. Is that done by then?
