umm did i miss read this or what? im in the uk...

i looked on the ctvt website as i am really wanting one of the space 1999 repros, the figure is 15 dollars but for international bidders they require a minimum order of 50 dollars- this means i will get banged for import duty - anyway on top of that they insist on fedex and another minimum charge of 50 dollars- so we are on 100dollars so far- when the item arrives i will get hoiked for 25 dollars tax, 15 dollars charge from the post company to collect the tax, and a 40 dollar transfer fee from fed ex to uk parcel force- making one 15 dollar mego cost me an outrageous 180 dollars!!!

Yeah , if you're gonna pay all that to get them in get the whole set for around $100. i plan tobut not too soon so i can't help you.

You could just have someone in the US by one and forward it to you. It could possibly go First Class International which is fairly inexpensive. Priority (if weight requires that mode) would be more, but still much less than FedEx.

BTW, the reverse -- UK to US -- is often no picnic either, especially given the exchange rate.
