A vintage toy that is driving me crazy...

When I was just a baby... late 1960's... I had these toys that I have never seen since, and it's driving me crazy trying to figure out what they were.

They were big, foam figures, with wire inside so they could be posed. I had a Bozo and a Bugs Bunny... but I think every major character had one.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I had a popeye one that my aunt sent me in the late 60s. In the 70s there was a company that had a Mickey Mouse, a Donald Duck, and a sailor version of Popeye. I never looked into it, but I just assumed it was Lakeside or Dakin.

I try to look for them on ebay from time to time (but being made of foam, not many may have survived this long)... but I'm never sure what to but in the search box.
