Awesome! I had that issue back in 8th grade and let a kid in shop class borrow it...guess what! Never got it back! Keep jerking me around til I finally gave up! And thus started my policy if never lending out comics (or music, DVD, video)....cause you feel like an idiot if you have to ask for it back.
Wasn't the artwork by Marshall Rogers/Terry Austin (a great Batman team) and the villains were Puffin (Penguin), Quizling (Riddler) and maybe someone else? That issue has nagged at me all these years.
But seeing the cover again was an instant flashback. Thanks Buk!Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Hey Buk,
Have the Marvel Treasury with Howard and the Defenders(not mint),
and if I do some searching should have a candy container in the shape of his head.
They're yours for the taking if you want em.
There is a viewmaster pack for him, and Foom #15 features him and has a Gerber interview.Comment

You'll be at the Meet right?
This would be a push to get my sorry a** there.
Now I just gotta find the candy head.Comment

I was not a regular collector of Howard the Duck but I did enjoy the movie. If thye had waited and made the film now, with the cgi we have today, a better version could be made. I don't understand why they just didn't use some type of muppet unstead of a dwarf in a costume. No person can conform to Howards proportions. I mean they could convince us Yoda was real in the 1980's but a talking duck just didn't seem to be feasible.
Bill, it's nice to see you back on the boards and posting again. I hope you come join us this summer at Mego Meet.Comment
