Johnny Depp and Aurora Dinosaur kits

Last year, the Dark Shadows set designer emailed me and picked my brain on what should be in David's room, his toys, what kind of bike.

I gave her several suggestions, one of them was Aurora Model kits, particularly the Universal Monsters. I'm sure that might not have been a possibility but I am happy to see this shot this morning.

I thought of you the minute I saw this photo the other day. Seems to me that they absolutely followed your lead.

Have to say, the cast looks fantastic! Hope the script & direction matches the atmosphere.

I just bragged about you to my wife in a vain effort to be cool by internet proximity.

                It didn't work.

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

How cool is that! My daughter has been bugging me to take her to see this, now I can lean over during that scene and tell her that I know the guy that suggested those toys, Hollywood's go-to guy for all things 70's :-)
