Since I was making comps of the big figures, and because I was not sure if the 8" sculpt of Ace was a shrink or not, I did a comparison between the vintage 12" and the modern 8 and 12 together.

Af first I thought the sculpt might be different, but it just seems to be more succeptable to some minor warpage in the shrink that makes it look like a different head. Plus, the hairline is rooted in a totally different place, and the mouth paint on the vintage to modern figures is different as well.

Look to me like the vintage Ace head sculpt is a little different than the new one. The mouth is shaped different and the forhead has the lines across on the original!
