Need opinion on Hal Needham stunt set

Ok, so I ran across this set at a local flea market. It is missing the figure and the box is rough. All other pieces appear to be there. They are asking $17.00. Is it worth it? How hard would it be to find the figure loose on ebay? I've always thought this set was cool, but I'm not one for piecing stuff together.
Opinions?

I've seen the figure occasionally on Ebay. I'd say it is worth the $17 even without that fig, just because it's a nice playset.

Well, I haven't purchased it yet. Still debating. I don't see it going anywhere fast where it is at. So I thought I'd ask opinions. I will probably go back next week and double check all the parts. If they're in good shape I'll probably pick it up. Then I'll post pics

$17 is a great deal if all the pieces are there. The figure is tough to find by itself because most people don't know who he is and he can be mistaken for some Marx Cowboy. I have a few of them if you want to trade for something.
