Creature Crypts figures from Taco Bell

Does anyone remember the Creature Crypts figures from Taco Bell? I can't remember what year they came out, but they were similar to the Universal Monsters that Burger King had. However the Creature Crypts look like they were going for characters that didn't require a license. I have the mummy and he's great, but there are 5 or 6 in total. Unlike the Burger King guys, which you can find for around a buck, and I rarely see the Creature Crypt guys available anywhere. I don't think I've ever seen anyone here with any of them in their trade list.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

There is a whole set on ebay right now but the photo doesn't give you any clue as to how the figures look.

        Images are not mine.

They look pretty cool, I'd rescue them from thrift shop toy boxes for sure.

The Frankenstein seems to be based on "Horror of Frankenstein"

I stand fast that the BK figures are some of the most under-rated figures out there. I really really like them.
          Agreed, awesome toys.

I have the entire set complete. I can take a pic if you like.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Wow, I had no idea these existed. I love the BK set, and these look very similar.

I think the BK set is the greatest fast-food premium EVER.

I agree whole heartedly. The most under rated action figures ever IMHO.
