Looks like a good way to get a minty Commander if you're so technically inclined:

GI JOE ADVENTURE TEAM SUPER JOE | eBay (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574962988&toolid=10001&campid=5336850443&customid=&icep_item=280864806396&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg)

Too true sir, I just think it's a guilt free way to get card fresh doll.

One of these days I'll get into repairing these and become the Benbarb of the Super Joe set.

that one looks to have some hand remnants. Gotta catch that quick for a recast if you are going to be the king of SJ.

there's a nice bulletman suit w/ sticker (torso and legs) in a "hidden auction".

I saw a flocked super joe commander head with accessories for 25 on ebay and Commander carded also the red suit beardless carded. I have been putting them on Zica bodies and UFC bodies for a while now. I just did a beardless one last Friday on a Zica, I had to cut his neck off his original limbless body but he looks great now.

:smiley1: Those would probably disintegrate as soon as you touched them, sadly.

Yeah, this guy is definitely less common than the bearded Commander. I really wish I was handy enough to repair these, but it's beyond my limited skills.

I never heard of Super-Joes until the late 80's when they were already in the collectible market.

Were they not that common when new ?

I believe their sales sucked and they were pulled after one year.
