    New Who Goodies

    Just been reading about Who related releases ....coming on dvd Pater Davison in "Black Orchid" and obviously riding on the back of the new seasons sontarans Tom Baker in "Invasion of Time"...
    ....also the second of airfix's models will be a Dalek with front open to show Dalek mutant...mention of electronics included in kit!!!

    Stripped for Action - The First Doctor - a look at the First Doctor's comic strip adventures. Features interviews with artist; Bill Mevin, comic historians; Jeremy Bentham and John Ainsworth, as well as former DWM Editors; Gary Russell & Alan Barnes.

    The Lost Twelve Seconds - twelve seconds of episode four are still missing, excised by overseas censors prior to recovery of the print. This short feature uses off-air audio recording and the original script to place the cut in context with the story.

    Restoration - a short featurette showing 'before and after' examples of techniques used during the restoration of this story.

      Roger, was there a comic strip of Doctor Who in Look-In magazine back in the 70's I can't quite remember...too young...if not...er...HAPPY NEW YEAR

        Hartnell stories started appearing in TV comic going on to Troughton stories then Pertwee was in countdown and TV action (The daleks appeared in tv 21 which was primarily a Gerry Anderson filled comic...although strangly Star Trek was their longest running strip), going into Tom Baker until Dr Who Weekly came out(as an aside a few short stories appeared in th marvel Uk reprints of The Incredible Hulk).
        Hope this answers you question...Look In had Space 1999, Six Million doller Man, Bionic Woman and various other independant channel programs rather than BBC produced characters...check it out
