I try not to throw around the word "grail" a lot, but this toy really is one of mine. An 11" tall missile firing vinyl (or MFV as they are known in the hobby) of MechaG, made by Bullmark in the 70's. These don't show up very often, especially complete like this one (boxed ones are really tough!), if I had an extra $800 fun money laying around, I'd so buy this! Bullmark made some great giant robot MFVs too, like Mach Baron.

I can't lend you $800, but I can lend you $8. If 100 other MM members follow suit, you'll be set!

It's pretty cool BTW, I dig it! Whats the "MFV" stand for?

MFV means "missile firing vinyl". It's a little sub-genre of Japanese toys that doesn't get much press. Most collectors go after either diecast figures that fire missiles (Chogokin, Godaikins, etc) or vinyl figures that don't do anything. MFVs are a cool combination of the two. They're kinda like smaller Jumbo Machinders, except made out of vinyl instead of polyethylene.
