    Help Needed!

My boxes are almost complete and I need to get started on painting if I ever find the time

    two questions:

What is the best type of paint to use for flesh color look?

Who is the best custom painter out there today that is currently taking in desparate people like myself (Just in case I have no time to work on my own)

    Thanks,
    Rick

I've got a box of Apple Barrel and paints like that. They work pretty good and it's those sorts of paints that Dave McCormick always used.

There are lots of painters here. VERY talented painters. Not sure if Dave is still painting or not. You might want to e-mail him and ask.

As for perfect Mego flesh color, I don't think it exists. Dave and James Brady always mixed their own flesh color starting with an Appel Barrel Flesh (of some kind) and then adding bits of brown and even some red and yellow (in moderation).

Dave used to do all my painting, but I'm left now either finding someone new or learning to do it myself. Sigh. Guess I've put it off long enough. I'll be trying to mix my own Mego Flesh color before long...
