Anybody know what an original Big Frankie Boxed goes for?

I started working with a guy yesterday who was telling me about some toys that he had, including 4 NRFB Mego Kiss figures. He was also describing to me an old frankenstein toy that he had still with it's box that sounds a whole heck of a lot like a Big Frankie. Just trying to figure out what an original aurora BF would be worth.

At one point these were in the thousands but since it's been reproed, it's gone down some.

Okay thanks. good to know. This guy gave me a funny look when I said his Kiss figures would probably be worth at least $400 (I figured $100 for a boxed one sounds at least reasonable?), and stated to me that "I didn't pay that much". I don't think he realizes that you don't always pay what somethings worth. I think he might need some money and is working odd jobs, he might be interested in selling and in that case I can probably help him out.

Better sell now, as with Frankie, the new Figures, Inc. repros may make a dent in the value.

Yeah, the rerelease of the Big Frankie really dropped demand, but if the box is in really good shape (due to siz and the kind of litho these tend to have a lot of rubs) it alone can sell for $200. If it's the Marx Mechanical Frankenstein you should just send it to me.

I remember when the Big Frankie went for some serious bucks. It seems those days are long gone.

Yeah, Möbius reissued it (in a couple of formats) and satisfied the demand pretty well. I'm still casually looking for an original, but mainly for the box, and at $200 max.
