I've been planning to make a Wolverine custom and I don't know which costume I should use. I was kind of set on the X-men Evolution costime but now I'm not sure.

I think you should put him in a Dorothy dress. Hairy muscular guys in dresses always look tough, and just a little frightening. If a hairy muscular guy is tough enough to wear a dress in public, you don't know what else he might be capable of.

If you bleach it, then dye it pink, he might even implode from all the toughness.
