Hi, Everyone.

A few folks, including myself, posted in some other TNG threads about why Denise left TNG and if she ever spoke about it.

I found this video clip and at the end, she addresses that subject, along with not really knowing grandfather Bing and directing Trekkies and Trekkies 2. Enjoy! :smiley5:

Firstly K, I wanna say "thanks" for linking that clip
I want to add though, that she doesn't talk about her departure until the
very end---and unfortunately keeps the deatails very vague-
--I want the JUICY stuff ;) heh-heh
Again, thanks though--and it was an interesting listen.

Thanks for sharing that. I had no idea she was younger than I am.

^ I'm glad all of you enjoyed the clip!

Yeah...I know She's too vague about the juicy details for my tastes, too, but this was the only clip I stumbled upon in which she talked about leaving TNG at all!

I'll keep my eyes peeled! :smiley5:

Its truly appreciated

Glad she embraced "her mistake"

The Trek franchise is that much richer
for her post-quitting involvement

I remember hearing back in the day that she left the show after losing out to Sharon Stone for the part of Arnold's wife in Total Recall. I think she blamed TNG for not getting the part. At least that was the rumor at the time.

I personally met her at Wonderfest last year. Funny, insightful, intelligent and an incredibly under-appreciated talent.
