It was one pence, yes £0.01 :smiley1:

Just thought i`d share  They don`t come much cheaper than that.

Realize that 2 pence is about 2 pennies, so the record can still be beat!!!

Makes me glad I sold my loose Apes when I did.
I guess now is the time to start a Loose Ape collection if anyone is thinking of starting one.

I bet the other bidder was Aquahawksman or whatever his ID is. You were rewarded for being just as cheap, but faster:-)

No, the two bids were both mine (otherwise it would have been six pence - the next bid increment). I just placed another bid just in case a last minute bidder fancied a pop at it.

And I resent been called `cheap` I was willing to go to ten pence if I needed to.

Good point - my scenario would only work if you and Aquacheap had 1 pence snipes in, and yours beat his.

I just hope you don't have any problems getting it. Just don't want to see the seller change his mind on you and not send it to you for that price. Good luck.

Great deal....now just hope you don't have to pay 25 quid for shipping.

Great deal, and a true hidden auction. I was wondering how bad the shipping was as well. I have bought lots of electronics type items that have sold for a penny or a buck or two, but always take the inflated shipping into the equation. Congrats on what is certainly a Mego eBay UK record! :monkey_y:

Must have been the reversed tunic that scared everyone off. :smiley1:

I've noticed that deals like this happen when the seller gives vague descriptions, or auction titles like this one had. Just goes to show that it's worth it to check everything.

Congrats on the score! Looks to be in great shape too.

Yeah, you gotta keep searching for those hidden auctions, it certainly pays off... as you just proved... congrats
