Todays rainy find

Today, I decided to go to a local flee market. It was raining and needles to say ther wasnt that many people there. I visited the comic dealer and look what I got. I had an older cousin that had this. I remember playing with it for hours.

The comic book man knows his comics. When I asked about this pit change charger, he quicky responded take it for $2.00.

Wow $2.00. Even someone completely ignorant to toy collecting should have been able to recognize the style of the car as 70's and MARX toys as a no longer in business toy company, and the hairstyle on the kid as 70's. Wouldn't that make you want to at least research it and see what the value is? Great score.

Ya know a couple of hits like this, flipped on ebay can quickly build up the Paypal dollars to build a collection on. Some of my best Mego pieces came from a local toy store that traded me Beanie Babies for Megos. I'd pay $3 and trade them for $15-$20. Then he'd sell them for $20-$25. Man I miss that time.
