Does anyone know what the size was of the Love Boat playset item in length? How did they determine what the size should be? Was there an upper limit so a kid could carry it around? Was it thought of more as a doll-house like the Waltons home?
I supposse cost figured in and it was cheaper to do it in vacuuformed styrene, ( very cheap). Still why didn't they come up with a round bridge or enclosed Batcave or Love Boat even if it were styrene? At least they could have said the Love Boat floated in the bathtub.
